My experience of weddings and photography in and around Chester began very early in life as my father was a very successful wedding photographer for over 40 years.

Initially being a videographer for the family business, The Amanda Davies Wedding Consultancy based just outside Chester, enabled me to create an observational approach and to anticipate when certain photographic opportunities were to arise. This gave me the ability to capture the emotion and the unique moments of each wedding. I went on to study photography and completely fell in love with it and this shows in the images I produce.
My wedding photography style is observational and leans mostly towards documentary. The number of formal, posed wedding photographs taken of the bride and groom, friends and family is entirely up to you, but they are generally kept to a minimum so that your wedding is more about the both of you enjoying this special day with your friends and family.
I am a versatile, enthusiastic and creative wedding photographer and have been awarded a Licentiateship Distinction from the Royal Photographic Society. I have experience of working in other photographic fields and recently exhibited my own work.
